Native Plant Trail and Village Work Days

Every third Saturday we hold a Work Day ("Work Party" sounds more fun!) at the Nature Center. Over the Summer we'll start a little earlier to get ahead of the heat (8:30 am - 10:30 pm). If it turns hot too quickly, we'll do some deep cleaning inside the air-conditioned Nature Center! Bring work gloves (if you wear anything smaller than a men's large), wear closed-toe shoes, bring water bottle, sunscreen and bug spray (we'll have some on hand). You are welcome to bring your own hand-tools--just label them with your name. We will concentrate on whatever tasks are at hand--often weeding, digging out non-native or over-eager plants, trimming, clearing the trail, preparing to update our pollinator garden or repairing structures in the village. Minors must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times.
