6 Week Adult Beginner Pottery Wheel Class

Do you want to learn more on the pottery wheel, and go beyond the typical bowl or pot? During the 6 week class we will explore more forms for the beginner potter, including larger pieces as well as attachments (handles on mugs). You will make multiple pieces that can be glazed as you go or all together at the end of the 6 week forming classes. This class is geared to adults that want to learn a new hobby or even to those beginners that want to keep practicing their skills. Wear clothing that can get messy, we do have some aprons available (clay will wash out), and short/trimmed fingernails is best (long nails prevents you from properly forming). ***The nature of clay and firing means that pieces may crack or explode in the drying or firing process...we will do our best to accommodate any catastrophic failures. ** This class is for ages 16+, Monday evenings 6-8pm for 6 weeks, from 8/18/25 - 9/29/25 (no class on 9/8), with no makeup classes.
