1817 Living History at Territorial Park on the River Raisin

All are welcome to discover 1817 at our working farm this season! During open hours, explore the 1789 Navarre House house, see an operating 1810s kitchen, and experience the bustle of everyday life at the River Raisin Settlement. Daily demonstrations include:
➢ Pre-industrial farming with heritage crops;
➢ Heirloom gardening in our recreated 1810s food and herb plots;
➢ Historic foodways like hearth cookery and weekly earthen oven baking;
➢ 1810s Leisure activities and games, for children of all ages.
Come see what we're up to and discover 1817 this summer!
Grounds are open year round, and admission is free for Monroe County residents. Please note: there's no overnight parking, and all dogs must be on a leash.
