SONICO is the only band in the world in the past decade dedicated to reviving the music of Eduardo Rovira on stage.
Featuring Lysandre Donoso on bandoneón, Alejandro Schwarz on guitar, Stephen Meyer on violin, Ivo de Greef on piano, and Ariel Eberstein on double bass, SONICO dives deep into the lesser-known corners of tango history.
Like musical archaeologists, they search for forgotten recordings and hidden archives from the 1950s and beyond, piecing together new interpretations and collaborating with ballet companies and orchestras along the way.
