Written and Presented by the Young Artists Playground Summer Theater Campers (ages 5-14) and the YAP Teaching Artists: Stephanie Lesh-Farrell and Eric Stuart
Everyone knows magic has been around for eons... but not everyone knows where it began. Then again, not everyone even believes in magic—like Maya.
Battling a rare, incurable disease, Maya has no time or patience for fairy tales. In a moment of frustration, she makes a wish: that the word magic never existed. But when her wish comes true, the world changes overnight—creatures from myths vanish, magical beings are in danger, and reality becomes a dark place without wonder. Now, Maya and her sister must race against time to find the origin of all magic and restore what’s been lost. Their journey will test their courage, their bond, and their belief in the unbelievable. They must find… The Grimoire of the Magi.
A heart-filled, adventurous youth production about belief, imagination, and the power of magic.
