Xstatica: A Radical Dance Experience

You're invited to another evening of ecstatic dance hosted by Xavier! This time around, Xavier will offer an optional contact improv class for those who would like to come 30 minutes early at 6pm! During this time, we will explore gentle counterbalance, energy exchange, and connection with others. Opening circle will be at 6:30pm to set intentions for the dance. Next, Xavier will begin the music, performing live on the electric violin. After the live music, we have a special treat: a playlist featuring an entire album by the great Globular & Geoglyph! Come let your body teach you radical expression through movement!

Things to know:
We dance without shoes (socks or bare feet are perfect)
We dance without the presence of alcohol or other strong substances
We dance without electronic devices or photography
We dance without jewelry that could cause a safety issue
We dance without words, except if needed for safety
We dance with others only with consent. (Hands clasped for a namaste gesture indicate a "no" or termination of a dance. Maintained eye contact, mimicking, or moving closer indicates a "yes".)

This is a child-friendly event. You can buy a separate ticket for them using the instructions below.
