How to prepare food for long term storage.

For any of you that like to be prepared for an uncertain future, having long term storage food available is a key part of being prepared. Being able to store food you've grown yourself or have obtained from local growers is the least expensive way to do that.

I'm a member of a national organization called PrepperNet. We have a local chapter in Albuquerque which meets once a month. Our topic this month is something that is seldom taught in the prepping community. We will be teaching and demonstrating how to prepare food for long term storage using Nitrogen in 5 gallon buckets. We will show all the parts that you will need to prepare your own food, how to prep the buckets and how to apply the Nitrogen. We'll discuss sources of Nitrogen and other gases that can be used for long term food storage. There is no cost for attending this meeting.
