Join us at the Cathedral for a KC collaborative pianist meet-up and group discussion of what it's like to play for weddings, funerals and other events.
We want to know:
- What is your go-to repertoire?
- Do you have any policies regarding scheduling, payment, etc.?
- How do you market yourself? Do you use any services such as theknot.com to list yourself as a wedding vendor?
- Have you found this to be a valuable source of income?
And if you're like me and haven't played for many of these events, simply come ready to learn and get to know some other pianists in our area!

How would you like a new professional headshot to help you launch your wedding pianist marketing campaign? After we wrap up our group discussion, Grace Mott will be offering photography sessions for $30 per person for anyone interested. Each person will receive 3-5 high quality, edited images. Payment is due at the time of the shoot. Cash, Venmo, and check are accepted. Be on the lookout for a form that should be completed as well.
