Flash Focus Post: Orchestra Concert Fittings!
Flash Focus is in ONE WEEK, Thursday, July 24 and Friday, July 25. After you've grabbed your textbooks, walked your schedule paths and registered for parking passes etc., please come down to the Performing Arts Wing to have your student fitted for their concert polos. If your student is in Camerata or Symphony, they will also need to be fitted for dresses, tuxes or slacks and dress shirts. This process will only take 5-10 minutes, and every student who has to have their fitting during school takes up valuable class time. Please look for signs near the cafeteria that will direct you to Orchestra Concert Fittings.
Parents, we also need help with this event! You would do the following:
-Hold polos up to students' shoulders to check size.
-Use a tape measure to check dress, tux and dress shirt/slacks sizes.
-Update a printed list with each student's concertwear size
We would like to have two people measuring and one person marking sizes at each time slot. That is three people per shift.
Shifts will run from 8-11 and 11-2 each day. If you will already be there with your student, this is a great way to get your Parent Service Requirement covered for the school year!
