Free Class: Reimagine Your Lawn
Presented by Teresa Stephens (PollyDog Landscaping)
Lawns can be a beautiful and useful addition to the landscape. However, they can also be rather resource intensive. In this class we will discuss how optimize lawn areas and explore some alternatives to traditional lawns, including native grasses, ground covers, and perennial bed expansions. We will also review several tasks that can be done this winter to plan and prep for such improvements in the landscape.
Since 2005, Teresa has been the owner and operator of PollyDog Landscapes ( https://pollydog.com), a landscape design, consultation, and care company specializing in planning and organically maintaining native and drought-tolerant landscapes. Teresa is able to identify pest and disease issues and provide treatment recommendations, develop fertilization programs for lawns and landscapes, identify plants, address challenges such as poor drainage, dense shade, and intense heat, assist with W**d control strategies, and provide pruning instruction for roses, perennials, trees, and more.
