Course Director and Master Trainer:

Mr. Joel Tan-Torres

He was the Commissioner of the Bureau of Internal Revenue from 2009 to 2010.

He also served the government in various capacities in this agency and as Chairman of the Board of Accountancy.

He was a partner in SGV and at Reyes Tacandong & Co. where he was in charge of tax services.

Presently, he is the dean of the University of the Philippines’ Virata School of Business.

He has a degree in Business Administration and Accountancy from the University of the Philippines, where he graduated cum laude and ranked number 1 in the CPA licensure exam in 1979.

He also took his MBA from UP. He completed the International Tax Program and the Program on Information Technology for Fiscal Systems in Harvard University.
