Fresh Leaf Indigo Dye Experience

During this class we will briefly discuss the chemistry involved in coaxing blue pigment out of green leaves. Two pieces of fabric will be provided- a silk scarf, and a cotton handkerchief. You will have the opportunity to try two different methods of fresh leaf dying, salt mash and dipping. K Voelz wine is hosting us for this afternoon class. The class caps at 10, so I will be in contact to confirm your spot.
