Runners take their marks at 7:30 a.m. at the west lake boat ramp. The 4-mile race will follow the trail system at Oakwood Lakes State Park, which is two miles west of Bruce. There also is an 8-mile option, which will be a second lap around the course, according to race director Andy Carlson.

The $15 registration fee is paid Saturday morning. For those signing up between 6:30 and 7:15 a.m. Saturday, the fee is $20.
There will be basic snacks and refreshments with water at roughly miles 2, 4 and 6 as well as the finish line. All ages are welcome to participate.
A state park entrance ($10/vehicle daily fee) is required. It is strongly recommended purchasing a pass prior to event.
