Join University of Minnesota Extension in the field to discuss opportunities to add diversity to your corn and soybean rotation. This year, we will be highlighting small grains, dry edible beans, winter camelina and soil health considerations for adding new crops. Presentations will be focused on the agronomics of adding these other crops into current crop rotations, as well as machinery considerations and available market opportunities. Farmers, agronomists, and other ag professionals are welcome.
Crop diversification benefits farmers by providing for a diverse field ecosystem; adding flexibility for IPM, soil health, and farmer well-being practices; and promoting economic resiliency.
