August 30th is Beech Mountain’s Mile High Kite Festival! Located at the Meadow at 400 Beach Mountain Parkway, Beech Mountain, NC from 10 AM to 4 PM. Sponsored by Beech Mountain, Famous Brick Oven Pizzeria, and Avery County Chamber of Commerce.
