It’s Back
From 2007 until 2019 The Miners Mile Race was an annual event. The idea behind the race came from Dr. Matt Rafalski.
This year as a tribute to him, The Friends of Indian Mountain State Park Group is sponsoring this event for the first time in five years.
This year’s race will be a 5K Run/Walk that will take place on Labor Day, Monday, September 1, 2025. The race will begin and end at Indian Mountain State Park.
You may pick up race forms at the Park office, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00p.m. If you wish to pay by check or cash or you can register online at:

We suggest you complete your registration by August 15 in order to assure getting a Race T Shirt.
