Why They Came - Gallery Talk, Peoria County Bicentennial Event

This special gallery talk will highlight and augment the latest Peoria Historical Society exhibit at the Wheels O’ Time Museum. Entitled Why They Came: Celebrating Peoria County’s 200th Birthday, the PHS curator-led talk will focus on the early days of Peoria County with a look at what drew different groups of people to the area, some jobs that attracted early settlers, and evolutions that occurred in local government and culture.

The museum will be fully open to visit at the conclusion of the talk, until 8pm.

$10 admission fee. No charge for members of Wheels O’ Time Museum or Peoria Historical Society.
