Suicide Prevention Class

The library will partner with Safer Homes Collaborative's Ron Orr to offer a class on suicide prevention training. Police Chief Jim Helton will be on hand with helpful materials as well. This class is for everyone - family members, caretakers, teachers, co-workers - who know someone with suicidal thoughts. practical tips on ways to keep these people safe will be offered. If necessary, childcare can be provided at the library next door. No charge and no reservations required. Just come to the old theater and learn how you may be able to help save a life.
