About the instructor - Opalyn Brenger has been learning from fire her whole life - starting with camp fires in my teens and building gasification units for vehicle fuel, cooking, or bio char to develop my skills. While managing a natural burial forest for nearly two decades, weβve used limited thinning and other fire hazard reduction strategies which have significantly improved forest health while creating wood chips and biochar.
