Join the vibrant and heartfelt celebration of Día de los Muertos in Tubac on Saturday, November 2, 2025! This beautiful tradition honors the lives of those who have passed and brings the community together through music, art, and remembrance.
The day begins at 9 a.m. with face painting, followed by a 11 a.m. procession from the Tubac Presidio Historic State Park. Visitors can explore altars throughout the village, enjoy food trucks, over 40 pop-up vendors, live music by Martín Marquez, a Catrina Contest, and a moving bonfire finale at 12:15 p.m. in the K Newby Gallery Sculpture Garden. The day wraps with community fun, food, and heartfelt connection.
In addition to the main event, don’t miss the Santa Cruz County Day of the Dead Altar Tour, taking place November 1–5. Altars will be displayed across the county, including Tubac, and participating locations will be featured on a printed map available at the Nogales-Santa Cruz County Chamber of Commerce booth on Plaza Road. Businesses interested in participating may join for a $35 fee.
