Mid-Michigan Song Circle AUGUST 2025 MEETUP

OK Folks. For the past several years Jack and Wendy Neumann have sponsored a BIG all-day music fest (Guitarbecue) up on their homestead near Clio. The song circle was invited the past two or three years. In 2025, they are cutting back and just focusing on their personal musical friends and song circle folks. There will be a stage, mics and a sound system for presenters. There will likely be a sign up sheet. Performers will start with two tunes, and hopefully before the event is over we will get 3-4 performances per act. It doesn't matter if you are a solo, duet, trio, quartet, you will start with 2 songs. They plan to have a pause in the music right around 4:00 pm for a potluck meal and socializing for about 30-40 minutes. Then back to more music. Please help by bringing a pot luck dish, or finger food, also a portable chair would be helpful, your music gear, and naturally some choice songs to share with the group. The is open to all song circle members, their guests, and Jack's special circle of musicians. We hope that the weather will be bright, sunny and fair. IF THE WEATHER SHOULD BE INCLEMENT, then Jack says the backup plan would be for Monday, 8-11-25, same times and place.. Since many of the performers are retired it should not be a problem. WE HOPE TO SEE YOU COME OUT AND SHARE THE JOY OF MUSIC.
