Community Connections Blood Drive

The City of Hutto and the Hutto Area Chamber of Commerce have partnered with We Are Blood for two community blood drives (the first on August 22 and the second on August 28).

We Are Blood supplies over 50 hospitals in Central Texas, which means your donation can directly impact local patients!

The initiative kicks off with a "National Thoughtfulness Day" proclamation at the City Council meeting on Thursday, August 21 at 7 PM, inviting everyone to support our community through acts of kindness, including blood donation.

Upcoming Blood Drives:
1. Friday, August 22 at the Hutto Area Chamber of Commerce (122 East St. Hutto, TX 78634. Look for the drive in front of the building). Appointments start at 9:00 AM.

2. Thursday, August 28 at Hutto City Hall (500 W Live Oak St. Hutto, TX 78634- drive will take place in Council Chambers). Appointments start at 10:00 AM.

The process takes about 45 minutes-hour. Please eat a full meal and bring a photo ID. Your single donation can provide up to 60 transfusions.
