🕌 AUGUST LOCATION: THE LEVEL (meeting point: Pelicano)
This is the general location but you're welcome to set yourself up and create art anywhere in the vicinity, and to turn up at any time.
There's always lots going on in and around The Level! Join us for our August meetup where you can choose to sketch points of interest like Pelicano, The Level skatepark and architecture surrounding the water feature, the green park spaces, or interesting peripheral buildings like the old technical college and Phoenix Artspace.
Please note the different meeting time for this event - it’s a shorter meetup, and strategically close to London Road, so that attendees won’t miss the Pride Parade happening on the same day. As it’s a shorter event, you can choose to turn up earlier if you’d like!
For first timers and those who'd like to say hi before getting stuck into sketching, there will be a short briefing at 10.30 Pelicano, the small coffee kiosk at the bottom of The Level.
At 11.45, we'll meet back outside Pelicano for a throwdown to share our sketches.
WET WEATHER: in the case of wet weather, we'll reschedule the meetup or pick a sheltered location. The event info will be updated.
