Remembrance Sunday Outdoor Service with Wreath Laying and Town Parade

Please join us in the Market Place from 2:45pm to take part in the Town’s Remembrance Sunday outdoor service and Parade (starting at 3pm until approximately 3:45pm-4pm).

Watch the wreath laying against the Town Hall and Blandford Forum Parish Church, hear music from The Blandford Stour Valley Band and join your family, friends and fellow residents in singing Hymns in the open air prior to the parade.

Refreshments are available in the Corn Exchange after the parade or there is a paid bar at Legion House (at the top of Church Lane).

Please contact us if you would like to lay a wreath or take part in the parade.

The road closure takes place from 2:30pm, to allow the parade to form up safely, and is reopened as soon as the public leave the Market Place area (anticipated 4pm, but latest 4:30pm).

The following car parks will be free on the day: Marsh & Ham, Langton Road, Station Court and Eagle House Gardens but time limits still apply.

Please note the Market Place car parking area and Church Lane car park are not available on Sunday 9th November 2025.
