VJ Day 80 Celebration - 'Picnic on the Lawn'

Picnic on the Lawn - VJ Day Celebration Event - Friday 15th August 2025

The Weston-super-Mare Branch of the Royal British Legion supported by Weston Town Council invite you to a ‘Picnic on the Lawn’ to celebrate VJ Day (Victory in Japan) and to the end of World War II hostilities.

Venue: The Royal Hotel, Weston-super-Mare, BS23 1JP
Date: Friday 15th August 2025
Time: 1200 pm until 4:00pm
*Picnic food & drinks will be on sale in the Royal Hotel.
Entertainment provided by our very own ‘Blitz Time Sally’ & ‘The Rainbow Singers’
