Join Black History Manitoba for the Emancipation Day Celebration on August 1, 2025, at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, proudly presented by the Black History Manitoba Celebration Committee.

This vibrant evening of culture, history, and unity begins with a free reception at 6 PM, followed by an inspiring program at 7 PM hosted by Peg City Lovely - Natalie Bell. Enjoy stirring national anthems sung by One Voice, powerful spoken word by Ralph Bryant, a special appearance by Minister Jamie Moses, a thought-provoking short film, and an energizing crowd drumming session with Drum Cafe—plus much more!
