ANZ Drop Bathurst: Protect Denniston Plateau

Join the nationwide call for the ANZ to drop Bathurst Resources as a customer.
ANZ is the bank behind Bathurst Resources, the company pushing to blast open a 20 million tonne coal mine on the Denniston Plateau, a precious and unique part of Aotearoa.
Rare and threatened species live on Denniston and Stockton plateaus, including great spotted kiwi (roroa), fernbirds, western weka, kaka, the nationally endangered giant snail Powelliphanta patrickensis, West Coast green gecko, ground weta and koura (freshwater crayfish).
ANZ is enabling Bathurst Resource to put these species at risk by providing them banking services.
Bathurst’s Fast Track application included a request for a DOC permit to K*ll wildlife. We can’t let them get away with killing these precious taonga and destroying the unique ecosystem that they call home
Over 1,000 people are already demanding: “ANZ - commit to phasing out all banking services to fossil fuel expansion companies (like Bathurst) by 2030.”
