It’s nice to spend sometime reminiscing about the amazing adventures you had playing music. A little throwback to DOMI days where there wasn’t a gig gone by that wasn’t laced with fun and laughter. I have never considered playing music as a business, one where I needed to make money, a job. For me it’s the absolute passion and freedom that music brings to my mind and soul when I play. I never wanted it to be something I could resent or be scared of it in the way a conventional job would. The fear of job loss, rejection, doing the wrong thing. It’s why I have always separated it. Music makes me believe in something, it stops me from drowning, it helps me navigate this frustrating but wonderful world. I will love it and nurture it as if it was my child. I will always be grateful that I have it and that no one, no big boss man, can take it away.
