The Red Earth Project | Exhibition: 25–27 July
This community exhibition marks the culmination of a Daisi’s heritage project led by artist Claire Jo Harmer, working with local schools and community groups across Brixham.
Using paint made from Brixham’s naturally pigmented red earth, participants created small canvas artworks inspired by the town’s fishing heritage.
These individual pieces will come together as a community sail, on display at A Kick Up the Arts from 25th–27th July, 10.30–5pm daily.

This event has been made possible by Torbay’s Local Heritage Grant Scheme, a collaboration between Torbay Council, Torbay Culture, and the English Riviera UNESCO Global Geopark, and made possible thanks to investment from The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
