On Sunday, July 20 we will gather at 4:00 p.m. for our second discussion in our summer series. Our focus this month will be on discipline in our educational system (which will include a follow-up from our focus last summer on punishment of Black girls).
Our panelists for that discussion will be Effie McMillian, Chief Equity Officer, Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools; Reverend Paul Robeson Ford, Program Director, Action4Equity; Valerie Glass, Executive Director, Triad Restorative Justice; and Shannon Dobson, Director of Behavior Support and Intervention, WSFCS.
We hope you will join the Community Service Committee in the Fellowship Hall for this engaging discussion in which we all have our eyes opened to the needs of neighbors in our own community. Feel free to invite colleagues, neighbors, and friends!
