Our August 20–21 Beef Cattle Reproductive Ultrasound Training Course is now full. Thank you to everyone who registered — we’ve been processing registrations on a first-come, first-served basis and are delighted by the strong interest. Courses are open to veterinary students, veterinary technicians and beef producers.

Course Fee: $1,695 CAD
Duration: 2 days (5 hours of classroom theory + 7 hours of hands-on practice with live cattle)
Included: All training materials, use of ultrasound machines, hot lunches, and small-group instruction
What You’ll Learn:
Fundamentals of bovine reproductive ultrasound and image interpretation
Reproductive anatomy review, identifying pregnancy and open cows
Fetal aging, identifying anomalies and twin pregnancies
Arms-free scanning techniques and use of extension arms for late-stage pregnancy checks
Universal ultrasound machine settings and controls
Interpreting ultrasound images
Our focus is on practical skills and real-world application. Participants will leave the course ready to confidently conduct herd pregnancy checks and complete reproductive evaluations in beef cattle. The course is designed to be hands-on, informative, and enjoyable — with plenty of time to practice and ask questions in a welcoming environment.
