Open for Public Tours with special guests from the Appalachee River Settlers Group

We invite you to join us on Saturday, August 2nd, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM for a special Back to School Day at the Homestead!

Members of the Appalachee River Settlers group will be on-site to share the story of the Three Sisters and their knowledge of the rich history of the Creek and Muskogee peoples in our region. Kids of all ages will enjoy crafting cornhusk dolls, sampling traditional foods once enjoyed by the earliest inhabitants of Walton County, and More!

Guided tours of our historic log house and outbuildings will take place on the hour from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Follow the walking trail for a peaceful stroll through the woods down to the Appalachee River. Pack a picnic and enjoy lunch on our beautiful grounds!

• General: $10
• Seniors (60+): $8
• Children under 5: Free
