Have you ever been in a situation where you wished you were better prepared to help someone in need of first aid but didn't know exactly what to do or what steps to take to make the best impact on their outcome? You don't want to miss the meeting in August!
Regina Menninger, RN, BSN; Trauma Prevention and Outreach Coordinator, U.C. Health will be our guest speaker. She will be presenting on the basics of bleeding control/first aid through a National program called "Stop the Bleed". Come prepared for an interactive session as this will be a hands-on class.
We will be returning to the Deer Park Community Center for our August meeting. As always, we will open our meeting with a quick monthly police report before we begin our Stop the Bleed interactive session. We will end with door prizes and dessert fellowship. I encourage you to bring a neighbor / friend.
