August 14th we will be donating 10% of all sales to the Melanie & Rosalie Albright Foundation!
Melanie and Rosalie Albright were sisters born with Cystic Fibrosis who lived their short lives with passion, joy, and a deep love for the arts. Melanie, a talented artist, shared her gifts through makeup design, set painting, and teaching at The Biz Academy of Musical Theatre. She passed away in 2014 at age 18 while waiting for a double lung transplant. Rosalie, a gifted performer, followed in her sister’s footsteps both on stage and behind the scenes. After receiving a double lung transplant in 2014, Rosie returned to the stage but sadly passed away in 2016 due to organ rejection.
Their legacy lives on through the annual Everything’s Coming Up Rosie Award, honoring two young performers at The Biz who embody their spirit, and through the Melanie and Rosalie Albright Foundation, which supports youth theatre through scholarships and performance opportunities.
