Praised by Rolling Stone magazine as “a remarkable debut album”, Closing Time is indeed a gem of a first release by singer-songwriter Tom Waits, who reportedly intended for it to sound like “ajazz, piano-led album” despite its ultimately more folksy influence.

Spearheaded by Jimmy Bartolo (Ultralow Music, Brikkuni), a delightful group of 5 musicians set out to reproduce this nostalgic album in its entirety, live at Offbeat, and we just can’t wait be a part of this!
