We're combining with the Hive and Central Coast Council to host a special night to look at the spectacular night sky and learn about the stars and planets!
Joining us for the occasion will be the Hives principal astronomer Dr Martin George. Martin is a well-known communicator of astronomy, appearing frequently in the media (especially radio programs and newspapers). He loves to bring the exciting science of astronomy to people of all ages.
You are welcome to bring along your telescope if you have one. However, Hive telescopes will be available for use on the evening. Participants are responsible for their own equipment.
This is an outdoor, night time event so please rug up and wear appropriate footwear for the star gazing section.
The evening will commence with an indoor presentation in the warmth of the barn titled Astronomy is for Everyone and weather permitting, be followed by stargazing in the area behind the barn.
The ticketing link gives you the opportunity to pre-book dinner(kids and adult meals) and grab a drink from the bar. We also have limited accomodation options available for the night in the form of our luxury domes through our website.
