Breathwork is a practice which takes you into your most primal language; the language of felt sense. During this session, participants will be guided through a brief grounding exercise, energizing breathwork, and will finish with a gentle restorative breath. This practice is designed to bring you into communion with your inner world. The breathwork will be accompanied by music, and verbal queues.
12:15pm: Mindful Eating and Walking Mediation with Danielle
If yoga is the union of the body and mind through breath, then perhaps we should consider food as the union between our bodies and our external world. Along with the sun and water, food is our source of energetic and physical sustenance and nourishment. What we eat can intrinsically have life and energy to it or could be devoid of this same energy and life.
How many of us are truly mindful not only of what we put into our bodies, but also of how we source, prepare and ingest our nourishment? Together, over lunch, we will discuss this topic, followed up by a mindful walk in nature.
1:00pm: Yoga Philosophy 101: The Eight Limbs of Yoga
