What does reactivity look like in your dog?
* lunging towards others
* loud barking
* body posturing
* redirected aggression
Or maybe yours looks more like.....
* tail tucked
* avoidance
* wall eyed
* submissive urination
Either way, there are a few things going on here and a solid solution is much more then just confidence building and some obedience training.
When you have a reactive dog two main things have not been made clear to them.....
1. That you are truly the leader of the pack.
and
2. That you have the ability and willingness to advocate for your them......in their language.
There are so many ways where we tend to humanize things with our dogs vs taking the time to truly learn their language and understand how pack dynamics work from their perspective.
🐾 On August 5th from 6-7:00pm I'll be offering a free seminar focused on the reactive dog. THIS IS NOT A GROUP CLASS. This is a series of evaluations with dogs I have not yet met, in front of anyone wishing to attend. I will be working through what issues the dog has while walking everyone through the process step by step.
There will only be 4 spots available for dogs so preregistration is required along with proof of vaccinations. I will not be meeting with these dogs before the event, all evaluations will be done publicly so that everyone has the opportunity to learn from them as my time tested techniques produce immediate results. Please keep in mind that this is for reactive dogs, not aggressive. If your dog has a history of being aggressive or has a bite history, I would be happy to meet with you privately.
