An orientation for incoming 6th-grade students at both Derby Middle School and Derby North Middle School will be offered to lower student anxiety and to begin building relationships.
Students will be divided into groups to help them learn the layout of the building, how to get into lockers, run through their schedule, and introduce themselves to new students and staff. Students may also be able to bring their supplies and set up their lockers.
