August Gathering: Appetizers, Art & Advocacy

Join us for a warm and welcoming evening of light appetizers, creative expression, and heartfelt connection.
This month, we’re gently exploring guilt—a feeling many carry after pregnancy or birth experiences that didn’t go as planned.
Whether your story includes trauma, loss, medical complications, or simply not being heard or supported the way you deserved, this space is for you.
We’ll reflect together on:
• What guilt can quietly look and feel like
• Why so many of us carry it (even when it was never ours to begin with)
• How others have begun letting go
• Ways we can turn guilt into advocacy, healing, and connection
No pressure to share—just come as you are.
Appetizers, art supplies, and supportive community provided.
⸻
📅 Please note:
This gathering will be held on Wednesday instead of our usual Thursday evening.
My kiddo has sports on Thursdays this season, and being present for him is a priority. We’ll see how Wednesday evenings work for everyone and revisit the schedule before the September gathering.💞
📝 Group Guidelines
This group is open to anyone who resonates with the experience of birth, pregnancy, or postpartum that left a lasting mark—whether through trauma, loss, medical complications, or unmet expectations.
We ask each participant to sign a short agreement upon attending to help protect the emotional safety of everyone present. Due to the sensitive nature of what’s shared, anyone who cannot honor these group boundaries may not be invited back.
👶 Children and Babies
Babies are always welcome—we know they often just need to stay close. However, due to the nature of our conversations and the need for a focused space, older children are not able to attend. Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and supportive environment for all.
💡 Please Note
This is a peer-led, grassroots support group—not a therapy group.
I’m not a licensed therapist, just a fellow mom who’s walked through birth trauma and is passionate about creating a space for healing, reflection, and connection. 💞
