Arts in the Garden - Free Rock Painting!

Come out to Arts in the Garden this Saturday and enjoy all of the amazing things happening “on the green” between the Palmer Museum and the Palmer Ale House. There are so many amazing vendors and artists that will be there, you don’t want to miss it! That Thing Goin On will have a rock painting station set up with paint pens, markers, and spray paint. Come out and help grow Mattie Su!

Mattie Su is a community art project that made her debut last year at the Palmer Towne Food Court. Matsu Central Gravel donated boulders that were then painted by local artist to depict the sources of the Matanuska and Susitna Rivers. Community members are invited to paint rocks and “grow” the river. Hope to see you on Saturday in beautiful downtown Palmer!
