Tools for Schools - Supplies for Teachers

This special event is for 1) teachers, interventionists, and librarians at Title I schools, and 2) brand new teachers at public and private schools. This includes grades preK - high school. We ask that you bring your school ID or a letter from the principal or district about being hired. Please do not show up without one of these as it puts our volunteers in an awkward situation. They do not want to turn you away but we must have guidelines especially with free supplies we have worked really hard to collect and organize.
Eligible shoppers will be able to fill two grocery bags full of materials and one large item that may not fit in the bag.
Registration required. We are asking for $10 as part of the reservation as we only have so many spots per day and we need to folks to show up in the timeslot they signed up for. You are welcome to stay longer but we ask that you respect the closing time each day so our hardworking volunteers can prepare for the next day and get home. The $10 can go towards larger items or towards items in the Greener Good creative reuse resale shop just a few doors away. It can be spent the day you shop or another day during the school year.
One visit to this event per educator.
NOTE: TAs, substitute teachers, and homeschool teachers are not eligible for this event. Please do not ask our kind volunteers to make an exception. As a nonprofit with limited resources we are trying to do the most with what we have and with the volunteers who are so amazing to support this effort.
LOCATION: This event is at 831 N. Wilke Rd, Arlington Heights in the same shopping center as the Greener Good creative reuse resale shop.
