Hope & Healing: Williams County Overdose Awareness Day

Join us for an evening on the Courthouse Square filled with healing, reflection, and community connection as we honor Overdose Awareness Day: a time to remember those we’ve lost, support one another, and come together in hope and action.

This event will include:
Remembrance: We honor and remember those we’ve lost to overdose. You are invited to bring a photo of a loved one or share their name with us to be included in our memorial.

Support & Community: Meet others in the community who have been affected by overdose. Discover local resources, connect with harm reduction organizations, and access support.

Stigma & Harm Reduction: Learn from lived experiences, community voices, and professionals about the importance of reducing stigma and promoting harm reduction practices.

Event Schedule:
4:30–5:00 PM: Arrival, community resources, food trucks (depending on availability). Explore community resources, visit information tables, and connect with local organizations.

5:00–6:00 PM: Speakers & Presentations
Hear from those impacted by overdose, harm reduction advocates, and local leaders sharing stories and insights.

6:00–6:45 PM: Vigil & Memorial
Join us for a reflective moment of remembrance, with music and space to honor loved ones. Feel free to email a picture or bring something you'd like included in the memorial space.

6:45–7:00 PM: Closing Remarks & Community Call to Action
Let’s move forward together, united in remembrance, committed to change. Together, as a community, we can reduce stigma, support those affected, and save lives. Whether you're a loved one, a survivor, a supporter, or someone who cares, we all have a role to play. Let’s stand together and take action because healing and hope begin with us.
