Free Story Time, Crafts, & Edible Books Contest This Summer
Looking for something fun and free to do with the kids this summer? Join the Charlotte’s Web Bookmobile for Books & Bubbles—a bilingual story time series packed with stories, crafts, bubbles, and more—every Friday in July at Ryon Park!
Dates:
July 11- Public Safety Teen Cadet Unit #700
July 18- Public Safety Advocate Team w/therapy dogs
July 25- Edible Books Contest w/Sweet Baking Co.
Aug.1- Car seat safety check w/ Lompoc Firefighters & the Moms Club of Lompoc
Time: Story time starts at 10:30 AM, followed by crafts at 11 AM
Location: Ryon Park, 800 W. Ocean Ave., Lompoc
This drop-in event is perfect for families! Enjoy stories read aloud, then stick around for family- friendly crafts led by our teen volunteers—kites, puppets, musical instruments and “rock buddies.” Enter our Edible Books Contest and show off those creative food skills!
The Charlotte’s Web Bookmobile will be on-site for book checkouts, returns, and new library cards.
