This event will be held in loving memory for Noirín De Barra who spread love and kindness to everyone she met and always lent a listening ear to those in need. ♥️
It will aim to reflect her passion for fashion and passion for spreading mental health awareness! Noirín was an active member in the community and joined array of mental health organizations as well as other social groups.
Previously Noirín held a similar event and raised money for mental health awareness part of GROW Ireland and also spoke on Live 95Fm and in the Limerick Leader about
her own experience with mental health and to reduce the stigma.
Noirín always felt very strongly about improving mental health services in Limerick and expressed ideas for a community space where people can come and make connections, join activities and get information about how to access services in Limerick in a non-clinical more inclusive setting.
In line with Noirín's wishes all proceeds raised for this event be in conjunction Limerick Mental Health Association and go towards the launch of new Solace cafe – FREE out of hours mental health service aimed at providing crucial support in Limerick City.
