Saturday, July 26th
11am to 2pm β RAIN OR SHINE
Everything is PAY-WHAT-YOU-CAN so everyone can participate in our local food system!
11:30PM SEASONAL EATING WORKSHOP: Join Carol as she demonstrates how to make your own Herbes SalΓ©es, a traditional French Canadian seasoning. Learn how this can be used as seasoning while making a 'no recipe' stir-fry using fresh Hayes Farm vegetables.
1:00PM COMPOSTING 101: Learn all the basics and a variety of methods for successful backyard composting in partnership with the City of Fredericton.
JUST FOR THE KIDS:
Make flower pounding prints on paper
Scavenger hunt
Meet our resident chickens & ducks
FARM STAND:
We will have herbs, rutabaga, turnip, broccoli, carrot, green onions, kale, chard, raspberries, gooseberries and cut flowers
