Delve deep into the life and legacy of one of Binghamton’s most renowned industrialists, Alonzo Roberson Jr, on this docent led tour of the historic Roberson Mansion. Learn about Alonzo’s tenure as the head of Roberson Lumber Mill, his marriage to his sweetheart Margaret, and their life of quiet philanthropy that eventually led to the Museum we all know and love today.
This tour takes you through all three floors of the historic Roberson Mansion, including the iconic third floor ballroom, exploring the extravagance of the gilded age and the elegance Italian-renaissance style architecture.
Tickets are $4 and can be purchased at the Museum Shop. This tour takes place on Saturday, August 2nd at 1 PM, 2 PM, and 3 PM. Tour space is limited, so please plan on arriving early to secure your tickets. Museum admission is required.
This tour is fully wheelchair accessible. Due to an ongoing elevator modernization project, please inform Front Desk staff if you will require elevator access during your visit.
