Yoga For Neck Shoulders & Uppper Back with Pam Gaither

Do you hold tension in your neck and shoulders? If so, this workshop is for you.
Many factors can cause neck and shoulder pain, from medical conditions to lifestyle habits including your sleeping position. This discomfort is typically a result of movement—or lack of movement—in your routine. Most commonly, computer and cellphone use put undue stress on your neck, shoulders and upper back. Imbalances and pain are often caused by repetitive actions that engage some muscle groups and neglect others.
In this workshop we'll incorporate alignment-oriented, balanced action to release unconscious holding patterns in your neck, shoulders and upper back. Through progressively sequenced poses and mobility techniques, you will gain flexibility by opening the chest and strengthening the muscles that stabilize and support this region of the body.
We'll complete our practice with restorative breathwork, stillness and sound. You'll leave feeling deep calm and renewed freedom in your mind and body.
Join Pam, certified yoga therapist (C-IAYT) and instructor (E-RYT-500, YACEP) on June 22nd. Learn how to help yourself rediscover ease and resilience.
All levels of yoga experience are welcome, from beginner to advanced.
CE credits are available through Yoga Alliance. This course aligns with the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT) guidelines.
