SAVING OUR LOCAL SEED WORKSHOP - VICTORY COMMUNITY CENTRE

Ami, Ali & Nardia invite you to gather with us in learning the practices of saving & cleaning the seeds.

All levels of knowledge and experience are welcome or just come & be nosey...

Please bring
- some finger food to share
- any surplus seeds you wish to gift and/or swap.

Clearly labelled, viable seeds & half used commercial packets welcome...
Please include: name/variety, date collected & source if you can.

You can bring seed treasures of your own that you don’t know the name of eg a chili that has amazing flavour or your gran’s beans that are super productive... if unsure bring them along anyway...

Seed sharing is important for biodiversity, community kai resilience & self-sufficiency.


Come & learn about Nelson Seed Library and basic seed saving. Take part in processing this season's vegetable, flower, herb & native plant seeds.

Help prepare seeds to return to the library for all to benefit from.
