Daycation: Covered Bridge Festival

Visit Indiana's largest festival, The Covered Bridge Festival, for all things fall! This 10-day festival always starts on the 2nd Friday in October and showcases the county's 31 historic covered bridges and features authentic arts and crafts, fantastic food, and beautiful fall foliage.

Downtown Bridgeton is designated a Historic District and you'll see Dr. Crooks' old office building and the Bridgeton County Store, both built in 1868. The Old Schoolhouse is a relic from the early 1920s, and other historic buildings line the street of this quaint little town. Bring a picnic to the park, drop a line in the creek, or take a walk through the Bridgeton Bridge. You don't want to miss this treasure in southern Parke County!
